Alena Ehrenbold

Director and Producer

Alena did a Master of Arts at University of Zürich, Switzerland in business and a diploma in teaching. After five years of working as a college teacher for law and economics in Switzerland, she quit her fix job and now travels the world, following her passion as a surfer, freelance journalist and surf film producer. - Surf Film References : 2012 till 2014 she produced the first Swiss Surf Film " I Wanna Surf ". The film has been shown at several film festivals all around the world, had a great success on its tour in Switzerland and generated an unseen movement among the surfers in Switzerland. More information to " I Wanna Surf " : Alena was also featured in the documentary " Girl Go Big! " (official selection of many Surf Film Festivals around the world and winner best international Shorty) of film maker Theresa Strack.

Mégane Murgia

Co-Director and Cinematography

Mégane finished her Bachelor of Arts Spectacle Cinéma at the University of Rennes, France in 2015. After a trainee at the set of " Dans leurs yeux " of the renowned French film maker Séverine Vermersch she started her first own film project " Lettre a ma mer " . – Works: 2016 " Je suis ma Peau ", Nikon Film Festival. More work on Surf Film References : " Lettre a ma mer " will be published in July 2016.

Yohann Strullu

Co-Director & Behind the Scenes Cinematography

After graduating in industrial design, Yohann spent the last decade travelling. Passionate about film making and photography since a young age, he regularly brings back pictures and video edits of his journeys. Jonathan Josse

Co-Director & Under Water Cinematography

As a passionate surfer, Jonathan traveled the world. Due to a back injury on one of these adventures, which cut short his surfing, he grabbed an underwater camera which has become a permanent fixture in his suitcase. Surf Film Reference: underwater camera on the Maldives of " I Wanna Surf ", underwater camera of " Girl Go Big ", camera and edit of several short clips.

Timon Rupp

Co-Director and Cinematography

Timon has finished his Bachelor of Arts in Film in Lucerne in 2012. He is working as a Freelance Filmmaker for both TV (News, Sports and Documentaries) and Commercial Productions. He also shot two independent sport documentaries. In " Alles für Nik " (2012 / doc / 60 min) he joined swiss cycler Nik Zeindler on his journey at the Race Across America (RAAM). With " I Wanna Surf " (2014 / doc / 70 min) he directed, filmed and edited the first swiss surfing documentary. - Awards: 2012 Award of Merit for " Alles für Nik " at Lucerne Film Festival - Surf Film References : I Wanna Surf (official selection of many Surf Film Festivals around the world and in Swiss cinemas).

Theresa Strack


Theresa has been working in the German and Swiss TV/Filming industry for 18 years. She mostly produces/directs adventure TV Shows and documentaries. She was born in Germany, however chose to live part time in Hawaii and Switzerland. She did her Postgraduate diploma at Falmouth College of Arts in TV Productions. - Awards : 2011 Swiss TV Award (Innovation) and 2015 Best international Shorty (Nord/Nordost Surf Film Festival, Berlin) - Surf Film References : Girl Go Big! (official selection of many Surf Film Festivals around the world and winner best international Shorty).

Guénolé Cariou

Drone Cinematography & Photography

Since 2009 Guénolé has been working as a professional surf and snowboard photographer. His life oscillates between the ocean and the mountains. In 2014 he began to specialize in aerial drone footage to capture the beauty of these two amazing playgrounds and their athletes from a new perspective. Annabel Talouarn

Graphic Designer

Annabel studied graphic design first at Ecran School of Bordeaux and than graduated in 2010 Le Paraclet of Quimper as edition graphic designer. In order to develop a more artistic approach, she did in 2012 a Bachelor in Graphic Design at the European Art School of Brittany, in Lorient. After two years working at a printing press at Quimper, she was still thirsty for more knowledge and completed her studies 2016 with a Master of advanced studies at Greta of Vannes, in web design. Now Annabel is working as a freelance graphic designer and illustrator. Better hire her sooner than later, because her work is much sought-after.

Tudi Le Nédic

Sound designer

Tudi's big passion for sound and music led him to Valenciennes, where he did 2016 his master degree in sound technologies. Before he became the sound engineer and sound editor for Blue Road, he worked for several TV and cinema productions - mostly fiction and documentary.

Sandra Stadler

Film Music

Sandra Stadler has been studying the piano for both classical and jazz since she was four years old. She completed her Bachelor degree in ‘Composing for Film, Theater and Media’ at the Zurich University of the Arts in 2012 and then moved on to obtain her Master degree in ‘Composing and Music Theory’ in 2015. Aside from her composition work, Sandra is also an active pianist and singer on different projects and is pursuing her passion as a Songwriter.

Bänz Isler

Film Music

Since his start in the industry in 2008, Bänz Isler has emerged as a talented composer for numerous trailers, short films, documentaries, TV-productions, as well as full-length feature films. Bänz further built his foundation in composition by completing a Bachelor in ‘Music and Media Arts’ followed by a Master of ‘Composition for Film, Theatre and Media’ at the renowned Zurich University of the Arts. For his original score in the feature film ‘Neutral Territory'; (Counting Ants Productions, CDN) he received nominations for both ‘Best Original Score’ in the World Music & Independent Film Festival of Washington, DC, and ‘Best Original Song’ (Calling my Name) in the Treasure Coast Film Festival in Florida.
